FIELD INSPECTION OF THE CHURCH ASCENSION OF THE HOLY MOTHER MATKA

The field inspections of the sacral profane buildings are part of the program activities of NI Conservation Center - Skopje. Within the scope of these activities, an inspection was made of the condition of the church Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos - Matka. During the inspection, visible damage was noted on the facade of the upper and side parts of the entrance to the church. NI Conservation Center - Skopje for that purpose will prepare a conservation-restoration project in the part of the fresco painting, all in the interest of protecting cultural heritage.
