Memorial Cultural Heritage - Valiete Konak "Ukomat"

A professional team from NI Conservation Centre - Skopje made an inspection of the condition of the monumental cultural heritage from the Turkish period - the Vilayet Lodge "Ukyumat" in Skopje, an administrative building built towards the end of the 19th century, where the highest vilayet administration was housed. The Vilayet Lodge was built in the same period when the Old Turkish Post Office was built, in the spirit of Islamic architecture. The building suffered more serious damage during the earthquake in 1963, after which it was later reconstructed.
