Implementation of "Aqueduct" Project in Skopje

The implementation of the "Aqueduct" project in Skopje is underway, in the presence of Mirka Iloska, architect advisor conservator - project leader, Tsvetanka Hadji Petsova, architect advisor conservator - conservation supervision and Andrea Tanevski, civil engineer - construction supervision. This is the second part of the first phase where ties are being placed around the pillars in places where wooden beams existed, whereby the space between the ties and the stone is filled with authentic material and injected with mortar (zeolite) according to a masonry recipe, previously prepared and tested by the Ading company from Skopje. During the masonry, the previously removed construction stone is also incorporated. The masonry is done without final surface treatment of the pillars. After strengthening the pillars, the next phase begins - installation of micropiles after previously made boreholes around the pillars with the installation of lean concrete with surface leveling under the connecting structure.
