Implementation of "Aqueduct" Project in Skopje - Stabilization of Pillars with Micropiles

Work continues with undiminished intensity on stabilization of the pillars with installation of micropiles, a process that will prevent further inclination i.e. tilting. The construction of a temporary structure for supporting the critical pillars as well as the installation of steel ties in the openings created from the decay of wooden beams, a building style from the Ottoman period which unfortunately contributed to the degradation of the pillars with the collapse of stone, mortar and other built-in material, the walling of the same was an inevitable process for installing self-drilling pipes and injecting the micropile boreholes with cement injection mass. Simultaneously, the works are being carried out with two machines for the purpose of intensifying the implementation of the project in the first phase.
