Project - "Monitoring of Orthodox Cultural Heritage"

The protection of cultural heritage is a primary part of the work of NI Conservation Centre Skopje, where the Skopje region abounds with cultural properties that through architecture, fresco painting, decorative sculpture and ornamentation captivate with spirituality and sublimity. The church "St. Panteleimon" in the village of Gorno Nerezi from the 12th century is the most significant sacral object from this period. The protection of cultural properties was the occasion for a conversation with the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church, Archbishop Stefan of Ohrid and Macedonia.
